Skip to main content OHFA's Homebuyer Education

Welcome! You have taken your first step towards fulfilling the homebuyer education requirement for OHFA's homebuyer programs. We're glad you chose one of our loan products. We hope this online module helps prepare you for the rewarding responsibilities of homeownership.

Free Homeowner Resources

Qualified buyers will be eligible to join Power of Home, a new program that provides free homeowner resources through the digital app, Keep by Framework®. New tools and resources will be available to help you manage, maintain and build equity in your home.

You can download Keep to guide your homebuying process:
– Track to-dos that come up during the home inspection
– Do your own inspection following a quick assessment guide

You'll also have the opportunity to test new features and participate in a research study with The Ohio State University when you complete the homebuyer education.

On Saturday, April 26 OHFA's website and online tools will be down starting at 6 a.m. for maintenance. They will be back up on Sunday, April 27. Applications such as DevCo, LenderOnline, Homebuyer Education classes, and others will not be available. Please make sure to complete your work in these systems by the close of business on Friday, April 25. Reservations can be made until the end of the day on Friday, April 25. Please plan accordingly for your closings as LenderOnline will not be available to obtain any documents. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

OHFA's homebuyer education is not completed until after the homebuyer has submitted their loan application with their officer.
